ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
James Prosek is a leading expert on fly-fishing and a popular writer in that area. A Yale graduate, he began his writing career at age 20 with Trout: An Illustrated History. His other books include Joe & Me: An Education in Fishing & Friendship, The Complete Angler: A Connecticut Yankee Follows in the Footsteps of Walton, Early Love & Brook Trout and Fly-Fishing the 41st: Around the World on the 41st Parallel. His articles on fishing frequently appear in the New York Times. Prosek was recently featured on a Peabody-winning fishing documentary on ESPN. He lives near a fishing pond in Easton, Connecticut.
