About This Book
Overview

Did you know? Dolly Varden Char are named for a flirtatious woman in Charles Dicken’s novel Barnaby Rudge. She wore fancy dresses, including a green one with pink polka dots, just like the char when it’s flashing in the stream or fresh caught. Dollies were overfished as a nuisance decades ago and are now threatened by habitat loss and pollution.
