While traveling in his capacity as a licensed captain, Mike Elias has been engaged by yacht owners who wanted to travel to remote and unusual places, many of whom were in search of the Grander. This book is a compilation from those trips and the fishing experiences that occurred.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Michael J. Elias was born in 1951 in L. A. Calif. His family had him on board a boat before he could walk. With his Captains license he worked on many fishing programs that traveled all over the world looking for the Grander. After marring in the eighties he opened a boat shop in Long Beach, Calif. where between surfing, fishing, the shop and boat deliveries all over the world he managed to write and eventually put this book together.
