WHAT THE EXPERTS ARE SAYING:
“This is a wonderful fly-fishing tale for both young anglers and the angler that is young at heart. Kirk Werner does a great job of including fundamental fly-fishing topics in a great story that catches both your attention and your eye.” – Matt Wilhelm National Education Coordinator, Federation of Fly Fishers
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Kirk Werner is a lifelong resident of Washington state where he lives with his wife and two kids. He spent many years as an artist/animator in the children’s software publishing industry. Kirk is currently a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. And apparently a writer, too. Among his many other interests, Kirk is a rather unaccomplished fly-fisherman. It is his love of the sport that provided the inspiration for his children’s story, “Olive the Woolly Bugger.”
