ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Peter Kaminsky has written extensively about angling and the outdoors for nearly 20 years. He is the author of Fly Fishing for Dummies, and his “Outdoors” column appears regularly in the New York Times. He won the C.F. Orvis Award for Best Flyfishing Story of 1984 for “Old Friend Now Departed.” He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two daughters.
