REVIEWS
“This is certainly the best book of its kind that I’ve ever read. It is an absolute must for anyone who enjoys sitting near a campfire or lounging in a hunting lodge and listening to the inevitable hunting stories.” —Royce Armstrong, 3-D Times and Bowhunting Magazine
“These are campfire stories of the best kind, told honestly and with all the juicy details. This book is an excellent one to pick up from time to time, reading just a chapter here and there. But be prepared, after the first couple chapters, you may just have to polish the whole thing off in one, fireside-armchair sitting.” — American Hunter
“In Thornberry’s life there has never been an average day in the wilds. The bizarre and unexpected follow him on every outing. And in the end, he says, the ultimate trophies of the hunt are not the animals themselves, but the memories one keeps in his heart. This, also, is a book that belongs on the true hunter’s bookshelf.” —Pat Robertson, State (Columbia, SC)
